From literal (kind of) Grinches to covid lie spreaders to our police state and more, there are those trying to destroy the Christmas season.
I’ll start with a story out of Amarillo, Texas where a literal Grinch (or a man in a Grinch costume) went to Sleepy Hollow Elementary School to tell children that “Santa is Fake Jesus is Real,” read his sign.
The man’s name is David Harold Grisham, who proclaims himself a street preacher.
The full video:
A snippet where Grisham is assaulted by a father:
Now, I have to separate this into two categories. As an American who will defend my fellow Americans rights, I support Grisham’s rights here. As a Christian, this guy is not helping.
Watching the video, I don’t like Grisham nor the father who assaults him nor the police. Grisham was on a public sidewalk exercising his First Amendment right. The police ignored the criminal act by the father who assaulted Grisham but instead trespassed Grisham from school property even after one cop stated he was “absolutely” within his Constitutional rights to be there and share his message. Trespassing on public property, by the way, can only be a secondary offense. Private property is different. But on public property, you must be charged with a crime before you can be trespassed, so this trespass was unlawful. But Grisham stupidly complied with the officers and gave them all his information instead of exercising his Fourth and Fifth Amendment rights.
But let’s turn to the message now. First off, I agree with the fundamentals of what he said, but what was the point. He offered no Gospel message about why Jesus came to earth nor our need for the Savior. He just was there telling kids that Santa is fake.
I certainly have issues with the secularization of Christmas and the mass consumerism. I do believe we’ve lost focus, as a society, of the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ.
But this guy is just simply a Grinch. He wants to destroy the fun and magic for kids without even offering a message as to why. I believe there’s a need for street preachers, but it needs to be done right. This guy isn’t helping.
“I of course do not believe we should be promoting Santa (an anagram for Satan, and is some myth that takes on omnipotent attributes of our Lord God Almighty); but there is clear a time to discuss that, and not berate little children at a public school. But you see, those idiots – who probably believe in hard-works salvation if not even outright sinless perfection – are just looking to get an adrenaline rush, a ‘holy high’ from doing the devil’s work and patting themselves on the back for being ‘persecuted.’…
After another year of insanity, stupidity, frustration, woe, anger, emptiness, loneliness, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera; we all could use some medicine and some healing.
So, brethren and dear reader, whatever it is that you do this remainder of December, do it with joy, merry, and gladness. For that matter, do all of that each day, but specifically for the remainder of this year….
It has gotten so insanely out of control nowadays, but hardly no one is genuine anymore: everything is artificial and contrived, and done in vainglory for others to see and emulate. I see this even more so with professing Christians. Friend, just obey the book and stop making things harder than they need to be. Do you have the Spirit in you? Do you have God’s word (KJB) to direct you, right? Okay then, just take it for what it is and believe it, and live it.”
A 110-Year-Old Grinch
There’s no older Grinch that I know than the Federal Reserve, created with lies over a century ago.
It was created in 1913 and has been centrally controlling our economy ever since then. And 1913 was a very bad year when our Constitution, our Republic and our free market system was destroyed.
https://sethhancock.substack.com/p/america-a-weekend-at-bernies-nation
Of the Fed, Charles Lindbergh, Sr. warned:
“To cause high prices, all the Federal Reserve Board will do will be to lower the rediscount rate..., producing an expansion of credit and a rising stock market; then when ... business men are adjusted to these conditions, it can check ... prosperity in mid-career by arbitrarily raising the rate of interest. It can cause the pendulum of a rising and falling market to swing gently back and forth by slight changes in the discount rate, or cause violent fluctuations by a greater rate variation and in either case it will possess inside information as to financial conditions and advance knowledge of the coming change, either up or down. This is the strangest, most dangerous advantage ever placed in the hands of a special privilege class by any Government that ever existed. The system is private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money. They know in advance when to create panics to their advantage. They also know when to stop panic. Inflation and deflation work equally well for them when they control finance….
This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President (Woodrow Wilson) signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized.... the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill.”
The Fed continues its role as economic Grinch orchestrating boom and bust cycles and causing Christmas tree inflation and stagflation.
“There can be no doubt that the US economy is struggling with a serious bout of stagflation (a period of high inflation rate and slow economic growth), and that’s notwithstanding the foul-ball GDP print for Q3 2023. Fully half of the reported 4.9% annualized real GDP gain was due to a huge inventory buildup (+1.32%), health care (+0.33%) and government spending (+0.79%). We’d suggest these items are neither stable from quarter to quarter nor the ingredients of what actually fuels rising living standards and societal wealth.
In fact, during the last six quarters the print for real GDP minus these three volatile/dubious items has averaged only 1.80% per annum. Relative to historic growth of 3–4% per annum during the heyday of American prosperity, the recent “core” GDP trend representing fixed investment, domestic consumption and net exports has been nothing to write home about.”
Covid Grinches Continue Selling Fear and Lies
Have you seen this one from The John Snow Project?
Their little “poem”:
“Twas the night before Christmas. Santa took a deep breath.
If only he’d known it would lead to his death.
Santa always listened when the famous doctors spoke.
Too bad they didn’t mention that the virus spreads like smoke.”
Yikes, these people are crazy. The covid lie lives on. When will we put an end to it.
There are still Americans facing “vaccine” mandates and “doctors” selling fear.
They continue, to this day, pushing masks:

And the health tyrants work hand in hand with the police state. A recent investigation found that some of Americas biggest pharmacies have provided patient records to police without warrants. Of the investigation’s findings, Thompson wrote:
Lack of Legal Review: CVS Health, Kroger, and Rite Aid, among others, do not require legal review before complying with law enforcement requests for patient records. This practice puts immense pressure on pharmacy staff, who are not legal experts, to immediately respond to such demands.
Inconsistent Privacy Protections: The investigation discovered a concerning disparity in how these pharmacies handle government demands for patient data. Many Americans are left vulnerable due to inconsistent privacy protections across different pharmacy chains.
Warrantless Sharing: Alarmingly, none of the eight surveyed pharmacies require a warrant before sharing pharmacy records with law enforcement, except where state law mandates otherwise.
Transparency and Notification: Only a few companies, like CVS Health, Walgreens Boots Alliance, and Kroger, have committed to issuing annual transparency reports regarding law enforcement demands. Amazon Pharmacy stands out as the only entity that proactively notifies patients of law enforcement requests for their records, barring legal prohibitions.
Military Industrial Complex and Police State Grinches
“Christmas brings wonderment, and a sense of a future yet unfolded. We practice gratitude, as therapy, sometimes fearfully, and occasionally, with quiet joy. There is uncertainty all around us, and we crave certainty – not the certainty of death and destruction – but rather the reliable and certain comfort of feeling blessed, in a blessed world.
What we are seeing today doesn’t look very blessed. The United States Congress that supposedly represents us under Constitutional guidelines, just voted to fund and grow the US war machine, to fund overseas destruction beyond anything we have seen since we were scorching the jungle and destroying whole villages in Vietnam in the name of fighting communism…
Communism won – not in Vietnam, of course, today a busy, bustling, building, harvesting, and exporting phenom. But in the US, we have all the societal decay and hostility, all the security state growth, and all the suppression of free markets that we used to say we opposed. Economic and intellectual life is hampered, moving underground, off-grid, or overseas, along with our entrepreneurial youth and their wise grandparents. It’s the New American Dream, to leave the country and prosper.
Just before Christmas, the US Congress created the latest amalgam of constraints and barriers to peace, at home and abroad. The NDAA added new unconstitutional ways to mass surveil Americans, and new unconstitutional laws to prevent a future president from exiting or defunding that stinking cauldron of incompetence and conflict we call NATO. It protects government from military vaccine reparations, re-funds Ukraine Security Assistance Fund, and ratifies the AUKUS Treaty, specifically designed to stoke naval conflict with China for the next decade. The NDAA matches inflation in military pay, and in news to the struggling heartland, caps the ‘base pay of all DEI staffers at $70,000 a year.’ Who knew you could make that kind of money being a poorly educated lefty nag?”—Karen Kwiatkowski
Kwiatkowski’s piece details the billions of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollar going to the Military Industrial Complex to continue unconstitutional and immoral killing of others in our names. I should note, north of $40 million of those “defense” dollars will go to buy Viagra. And of course, the gift to us Americans is the government will continue to spy on us. I’d like a receipt and to know where I can return that gift.
“Just before leaving town for Christmas break, the US House gave Americans a last-minute holiday gift: a nearly trillion dollar military spending bill filled with lots of goodies for the special interests and the military-industrial complex. Unfortunately, the rest of America got nothing but coal in its stockings.
With Constitutionalists like Rep. Thomas Massie on the House Rules Committee, Speaker Johnson made the unusual move of bringing the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) under suspension of the rules, which bypasses the Rules Committee but requires two-thirds of the House to pass the bill.
Considering that Speaker Johnson tossed into the ‘must-pass’ bill yet another extension of Section702 of the FISA Act, it’s unsurprising that he wanted to rush the bill through without the possibility of amendment. Section 702 allows the government to intercept and retain without a warrant the communications of any American who is in contact with a non-US citizen. It is clearly a violation of the Fourth Amendment which is supposed to protect Americans against unreasonable searches and seizures.”
Domestically, the police state is as active as ever from using drones at malls to spy on shoppers to “kill switches” being installed in new vehicles.
“At a congressional review on Wednesday, Transport Department official was fervently scrutinized over the imposition of a federal ‘kill switch’ guideline for cars by Republican Rep. Thomas Massie. A prerequisite for auto-producers to incorporate a kill switch as a solution to intoxicated driving was a distinguishing feature of the bipartisan infrastructure statute, signed off by President Joe Biden in 2021.
Despite a spirited effort by Massie to halt the guideline, his amendment was defeated in the House of Representatives on November 7, with 229 votes against and 201 in favor.
According to The Daily Caller, this kill switch is expected to monitor driver activity and terminate vehicular operation on detecting impairment, with all newly manufactured passenger vehicles required to incorporate this feature by 2026, as directed by Section 24220 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.”
The Grinches may be active. But you don’t need to let them spoil your Christmas. Think for yourself, don’t live in fear and spread true Biblical kindness and love in this lost world.
“Friends, I’m going to celebrate Christmas with my family and continue to instill some of the wonderment and awe, and reverence I had as a child at Christmastime into the lives and hearts of my own children. To me, the Ghosts of Christmas Past are fond memories of a simpler time, a more innocent time. A time when God was God and it was ok to love Him, sing praises to Him and thank Him for all the many gracious blessings He’s continued to shower us with — even as we sojourn here among a world of depraved minds. I hope you do the same. And hold your loved ones close. Hug them. Tell them you love them. Reverence God and teach your children what the truth really is. And in the new year, endeavor to make your lives count by being always in the service to the King of Kings. We can never go back to yesterday, but we can teach our children again what “Normal” is like, and together we can look forward to the glorious return of our Savior, who really IS Christ the Lord — and the only answer to all the evil, wickedness, lies and nonsense this world continues to heap upon us. Thank God for Jesus.”—Rob Pue
“What a year.
It feels as if government Grinches and corporate Scrooges have been working overtime to drain every last drop of joy, kindness and liberty from the world.
After endless months of being mired in political gloom and doom, we could all use a little Christmas cheer right now.
Unfortunately, Christmas has become embattled in recent years, co-opted by rampant commercialism, straight-jacketed by political correctness, and denuded of so much of its loveliness, holiness and mystery.
Indeed, the season for giving has turned into the season for getting…and for getting offended.
To a nation of snowflakes, Christmas has become yet another trigger word….
You want to know why this country is in the state it’s in?
The answer is the same no matter what the problem might be, whether it’s the economy, government corruption, police brutality, endless wars, censorship, falling literacy rates, etc.: every one of these problems can be sourced back to the fact that “we the people” have stopped thinking for ourselves and relinquished responsibility for our lives and well-being to a government entity that sees us only as useful idiots….
What you can do, however, is step up your game.
Opt for kindness over curtness, and civility over censorship. Choose peace over politics, and freedom over fascism. Find common ground with those whose politics or opinions or lifestyles may not jive with your own.
Do your part to make the world a little brighter and a little lighter, and maybe, just maybe, we’ll have a chance of digging our way out of this hole.”
