Republicans unveil ‘Commitment to America’
The GOP has released it’s “Commitment to America,” a “plan” without any plans and nothing more than empty promises
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.”—Matthew 7:15-20
Last week, I wrote about America’s slave mindset as I described the reason why authoritarianism reigns in America. It’s because we allow it.
I also wrote about the useless, pathetic nature of the Republican Party. And that’s giving the GOP the benefit of the doubt that they’re just stupid, not criminal grifters selling a bill of goods for personal gain (which is far more likely).
And the House Republicans gave me proof with the release of their “Commitment to America.” Presented as some sort of a “plan,” there were no plans. All it amounted to was empty promises and mindless talking points for their slavish conservative bases to regurgitate when they go door-to-door.
My questions to Americans, especially those who call themselves conservatives, is are you buying this? Do you trust the GOP?
The “plan” effectively comes down to four talking points with practically no specifics. The Republicans promise to make “an economy that’s strong, a nation that’s safe, a future that’s built on freedom and a government that’s accountable.” Oh, happy days are here again! The GOP is going to save us!
Please spare me this garbage. Of course, nowhere in this “commitment” is mention of the Constitution. Nowhere in this “commitment” is a recognition that the government has been acting with powers it never was supposed to have. Nowhere does this “commitment” mention the medical tyranny their guy, Donald Trump, gave us with an unconstitutional emergency declaration. Nowhere in this “commitment” does the GOP promise to remove that declaration, which remains in place under Joe Biden. Nowhere in this “commitment” is a plan to stop the death jabs that Trump stole billions of dollars from us to warp speed production of. Nowhere is a “commitment” to stop the globalist plans for a Central Bank Digital Currency, which the Republicans are working with the Democrats to force on us.
And of course, Conservative, Inc. is telling you how great this crap is. Fox News calls it a “big deal.” Mark Levin says of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-California) that he “God willing, (will be) the next Speaker of the House” in order to break these promises but coddle the slavish conservatives.
David Knight, talking to Gardner Goldsmith last week, called it out for what it is: “This weak ‘Commitment to America’ is just pablum. It’s nothing but generalities, there’s no specifics, and they completely ignore all the fundamental issues that are before us.”
Speaking on one of the few specifics in this “commitment,” Goldsmith described the “cognitive dissonance” amongst conservatives who decry the federalization of police but then demand more federal dollars for police. In the “commitment” is a promise to steal more from the American people to fund 200,000 cops despite the fact police are supposed by a function of local government.
Knight said: “They’re going to give them the money, they’re going to let them get used to it and then the strings are going to come. And the strings will probably start being pulled once the Democrats get into power…. They ruin everything that they get involved with. They take over everything they get involved with. They corrupt everything they get involved with.”
One of the “commitments” is to “curb wasteful government spending,” a tried a true Republican talking point that has always been a lie from the GOP crime family. They say that every election, and when they win, they never, ever deliver. And if you think anything will be different with McCarthy, you are a fool.
Let’s go back to the largest spending bill in human history, the CARES Act in 2020 after the criminal government, under Trump, locked us down. We had one Congressman, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky), who stood up and wanted to “make sure our republic doesn’t die by unanimous consent in an empty chamber and I request a recorded vote.”
What was McCarthy doing? He was colluding with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-California) on a “big coverup” to make sure Congressmen didn’t have to have their name associated with this monstrosity, said Massie.
But if you want to know more about McCarthy’s corrupt worldview, read his message in support of the CARES Act.
McCarthy said “we hear your concern, we feel your anxiety and we know what we need to do,” after the government locked us down. And what did Congress “need to do,” according to McCarthy? Congress needed to steal trillions of dollars from us to hand out to their corporate cronies and hand we, the little people, $1,200 checks as the price for our enslavement. McCarthy went on:
“So what can we do for hardworking taxpayers, their families, and small businesses — the pillars of American life — who are doing their part, but facing economic disaster, through no fault of their own?”
“First, we can recognize that their sacrifices are an invaluable service to their fellow citizens. They deserve our eternal gratitude and prayers. Second, and more importantly, we can give them our financial support now so they can weather this brutal storm in the weeks ahead.”
“This bill is not only a rescue package, it’s a commitment — a commitment that your government, and the people whom you elected to serve you, will do everything we can to limit the harm and hardship you face, both now and in the foreseeable future.”
Seriously, this is the guy “conservative” Mark Levin wants to be Speaker of the House? Seriously, we trust this fraud with curbing wasteful spending?
No McCarthy, what we needed after we were criminally locked down was for the Republican Congressmen to stand up to Trump and the criminal bureaucracies to stop the tyranny and end every single lock down measure. Instead, McCarthy funded the tyranny and told us that’s what we needed. McCarthy is a criminal right along with practically every politician and bureaucrat.
And you’ll never get the Republicans to fight the medical tyranny. They supported it, and their guy Trump implemented it. They will never stop the shot. It’s Trump’s greatest accomplishment, these criminals tell us.
Writing on a segment from Del Bigtree’s The Highwire, Knight wrote:
“‘Medical Care’ has now become like the ‘Russian Roulette’ scene from ‘The Deer Hunter’ except it’s government and employers who are holding a gun to your head and screaming at you to take a shot - NOW!”
“Evidently, Del has had enough and today, like the POW’s in Deer Hunter, he ripped the gun out of the captor's hand and shot back — at Trump. Del asked, who kept Fauci in charge through the pandemic lockdowns? It had to be said and it has to be repeated.”
“For far too long people have skirted around the issue of who was in charge. The buck stops with President Trump for the lockdowns, the supply chain disruptions, the genetic code injections, the trillions in ‘stimulus’ inflation, and more. Del pointed that out in his rant and it will cost him with those who have made an idol of Trump, adamant that he is our only hope.”
Knight added:
“Trump marched in lockstep with Fauci on lockdown and everything else. He refused to fire him even when his voters chanted ‘Fire Fauci, Fire Fauci.’ Trump’s betrayals of his voter base, the middle class, the Constitution, and America, did not Make America Great. Benedict Donald’s betrayals Made the Deep State Greater.”
“Trump’s Executive Order of National Emergency remains and is the Deep State’s New Foundation for much of what Biden is building upon it, such as the Student Loan Forgiveness Program — a $Trillion entitlement program created solely by Executive Order. And the GOP won't talk about that because they don’t want to touch that foundation or take on Trump.”
“Trump didn’t fight the Deep State, he became subservient to it. Yes, they’re attacking Trump. But who believes there’s honor amongst thieves? Everyone is out for themselves in this Game of Thrones cutthroat competition.”
But as the GOP “commits” to ending wasteful spending, they’re “committing” for even more wasteful spending. Not only do they want to fraudulently steal from the American people to fund local police, they want to keep the war machine going.
The Republicans want to “invest” in the military. They’re basically on Biden’s team, aren’t they? Biden loves big military spending to fund the Ukrainian oligarch as there’s a bipartisan push for an insane war.
Like Massie with the CARES Act, Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) called out his party earlier this year with the insane spending for the Ukraine farce:
“That is a disgusting display by both sides of this body. We ought to have a full and open debate on the floor of the House about what we’re doing in sending arms to Ukraine, how much we’re spending, what it means for our involvement, what it means for NATO, what it means for stopping Putin, and stop spending money we don’t have. Stop funding tyranny. Stop forcing Americans to get a jab or lose their job. Stop leaving the border wide open. Stop selling the American people a bill of goods, and I’m looking directly at my party when I say that.”
If you believe the GOP is going to fix anything, you need to have your head examined. If that sounds harsh, tough. It’s the truth. This is a scam. It’s meant to drive you to the polls to vote for these liars and thieves. It’s meant for you to open your pocketbooks and hand them over your money to get these frauds elected.
Instead of the “Commitment to America,” why doesn’t the GOP commit to defending the Constitution? Why doesn’t the GOP commit to shutting down every unconstitutional agency, which is practically all of them? Why doesn’t the GOP commit to stripping the unconstitutional powers from the executive branch that they’ve ceded over to it year after year, decade after decade, generation after generation? Why doesn’t the GOP commit to liberty?
The answer is because the GOP is no different than the Democrats. The only differences are around the edges, in their rhetoric. Like the Democrats, the Republicans believe in government. They love government. They want to control you just as much as their counterparts.
But more important than this laughable “commitment” is that the people wake up and stop allowing politicians to make empty promises. More important is that the people start fighting for their own liberty and stop looking for politicians to save you.
“The real problem is the allowance of, which is completely voluntary, a ruling class given the power to lord over and control the masses at will. It is the belief that humanity cannot function or survive without a king and master class called government to guide them, restrict them, steal from them, and kill them when deemed necessary. It is the acceptance of ‘laws’ and mandates said to be only for the good of the people, and only meant to protect them. The ruling class of so-called ‘elites, and their henchmen in government and all government enforcement, are the real problem; at least if one desires to discount the willingness of the masses who freely allow their own slavery.”
“Once again, and for the thousandth time, the solution to this totalitarian hell lies in understanding and accepting the fact that only the individual has the power to wake up and change himself. No one can do this for another, and no government will ever police itself by implementing its own destruction. Each of us has to take, sustain, and protect his own freedom if it is ever to exist. This does not mean that one is alone, as the many acting as free individuals together, and not allowing any unjust rule, (all government rule is unjust) can move mountains.”
“I have been told over and over again that negating and ignoring government, non-compliance, no obedience to the state, and ignoring all mandates, is not a solution, but I beg to differ. There are 330 million of us and only a handful of them in this country. If you cannot understand the dynamics of this power, and the numbers involved, then you will never see your way to any liberty. My solution is not something I can give you; it is no solution that can happen due to the efforts of the few, and it is not a fix-all for everyone. It is based solely on each and every individual deciding that he no longer desires to be ruled over and a slave. The responsibility falls directly on each of us, and if enough come to this conclusion, this tyranny would end quickly. I do not because of human nature, believe that enough people at this time will stand on their own two feet and say no regardless of risk. But in my mind, that is our only chance.”
“In order to gain freedom, you have to want it badly enough to do whatever it takes to gain enough self-respect to understand the importance of your life. No one can ‘give’ you freedom, you have to demand it unconditionally. You have to rebel within yourself, and not rely on any other to give you something that they have no power to give. This is an individual struggle, based on the cooperation of many who desire the same thing. It is not and cannot be accomplished by hiding in the crowd, cowering in fear, expecting others to give you an impossible easy solution, and avoiding the pain of becoming free. You, each of you, has to decide for yourself.”
