Russia issues arrest warrant for Warmonger Sen. Lindsey Graham
One has to wonder; would Lady Lindsey Graham intentionally drop the soap?
Russia has issued an arrest warrant for U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) after comments he made in Ukraine rejoicing in Russians dying.
In an edited video, Graham is seen saying: “And the Russians are dying… the best money we’ve ever spent.”
In actuality, Graham statement of “the best money we’ve ever spent” and “the Russians are dying” were not combined and were not in the order of the edited video. Here’s the full video:
Notice, by the way, the un-American lapel pin worn by warmongering Graham.
Business Insider reported this morning:
“Sen. Lindsey Graham is now a wanted man in Russia after an edited video of him was released, where he appeared to celebrate the deaths of Russian soldiers.
Graham said in a statement on Monday that he would ‘wear the arrest warrant issued by (Russian President Vladimir) Putin’s corrupt and immoral government as a Badge of Honor.’”
It is interesting to note that the edited video, the one that helped get Graham an arrest warrant issued, was released by Graham’s new boyfriend, Ukrainian oligarch and Nazi Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The mainstream lying narrative media has been running cover for Graham since the edited video came out. Newsweek, according to Information Liberation, initially reported that Graham may have said “Russia is down,” not “Russia is dying.”
On Monday, Russia said Graham should clarify what he said. Reuters reported:
“Russia on Monday said U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham should say publicly if he believes his words were taken out of context by a Ukrainian state video edit of his comments about the war that provoked widespread condemnation in Moscow.
‘If U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham considers his words were taken out of context by the Ukrainian regime and he doesn't actually think in the way presented then he can make a statement on video with his phone,’ Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a video posted on Telegram.
‘Only then will we know: does he think the way that was said or was it a performance by the Kyiv regime?’”
Reuters has also been running cover acting as if the edited video took Graham out of context. In reality, it doesn’t change the substance of Graham’s statement. He both believes that it’s great to steal money from the American people to fund a proxy war on behalf of a Nazi regime as well as believing that it’s great that Russian people are dying.
And what we are seeing from this fiasco is how much danger one man, the warmonger Graham, is putting us all in. This pathetic chickenhawk fool has singlehandedly been trying to start a nuclear war. He has repeatedly called for the assassination of Putin. Graham has said it explicitly:
“I want the Russian people to take this man out. I don’t care if we put him in jail in The Hague or somebody kills him, he needs to go.”
As for this latest video, RT reported:
“Russia’s Foreign Ministry, however, has dismissed the ‘cynical attempts’ to justify Graham’s ‘cannibalistic’ statements. Responding to the Reuters article, the ministry suggested that the outlet was conducting ‘crisis management’ on behalf of the senator and providing ‘ridiculous and shameful excuses’ after his ‘Russophobic’ statements sparked a wave of backlash.
‘Attempts to justify such statements are doomed to fail. It is already impossible to whitewash such words, even if they were uttered separately,’ the ministry said in a press release, noting that this isn’t the first time Graham has made such remarks. Similar comments have also been uttered by other US and Ukrainian officials.”
“Russia’s Investigative Committee has also opened a criminal case against Graham, asserting that the Republican senator ‘declared the financial involvement of the United States is causing the death of Russian citizens.’
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov criticized the comments as a ‘shame.’
‘It’s difficult to imagine a greater shame for a country than having such senators,’ he said.
Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, said Graham ‘shouldn’t have done that’ and called the 67-year-old lawmaker an ‘old fool.’”
I called Graham a chickenhawk above, but I’ll note he was in the Air Force. But I think the tag fits. In fact, I would think it’s safe to say that Graham has engaged in stolen valor.
If you look at Graham’s military record, it’s clear that he was only using it for his political career, that he would never go and fight somewhere himself. Instead, he’ll send others to fight and die in his immoral wars. And he’s been calling for never-ending wars as a member of Congress since 1994.
Graham’s military career was revealed in 2015 when he ran for president. The Washington Post reported at the time:
“Of all the candidates vying to become the nation’s next commander in chief, none has spent as much time in the military as Sen. Lindsey O. Graham. The South Carolina Republican retired from the Air Force this summer after a 33-year career, including two decades as a reservist while serving in Congress.
Graham is running as a national-security hawk, calling himself a ‘battle-tested leader’ with ‘a lifetime of military service.’ Images of him wearing camouflage in the field are a common thread in his campaign.
But a detailed examination of Graham’s military record — much of it obtained under the Freedom of Information Act — shows that the Air Force afforded him special treatment as a lawmaker, granting him the privileges of rank with few expectations in return.
During his first decade in Congress, the Air Force promoted Graham twice even though documents in his military personnel file reveal that he did little or no work. Later, the Pentagon gave the military lawyer a job assignment in the Air Force Reserve that he highlighted in his biography for several years but never performed.
After he was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1994, Graham was designated by the Air Force Reserve as a ‘key federal employee,’ a category for a small number of lawmakers and senior government officials.
Over the next 10 years, he rarely put on his uniform. According to his personnel file, between January 1995 and January 2005 he received credit for a total of 108 hours of training — the equivalent of less than a day and a half per year.
During that span, however, the Air Force kept awarding him promotions. In 1998, he attained the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Six years later, he was promoted to colonel by President George W. Bush….
The arrangement benefited both sides. Graham emphasized his ongoing military service in his political campaigns, while the Air Force was grateful to have an influential lawmaker in its ranks.”
Everyone who calls themselves a Republican should be ashamed to have this parasite in their party. Of course, Graham is not going to be arrested by Russia. I wish we would lock him up.
I’ll note in the little talk with his boyfriend Zelenskyy, Graham had the audacity to compare the Nazi regimes fight to the American Revolution. It’s thoroughly disgusting and shameful. Republicans in South Carolina who have given this warmongering hack a three-decade political career should hang their heads in shame.
Graham makes America weaker and puts us all in danger. James Howard Kunstler wrote:
“Ukraine, of course, is a lost cause, and it was never a good cause in the first place. Contrary to Lindsay Graham’s untoward utterance, American money has killed far more Ukrainians than Russians. He overlooked that because he doesn’t care about the Ukrainians, for whose sake our ‘folks’ in charge supposedly undertook this clusterfuck. Lindsay Graham also may not have noticed that our country is collapsing and Russia is not. That’s must be because Lindsay Graham does not care about Americans, either.
As for our money, it looks like most of the rest of the world — the nations that still produce things of value — are so turned-off by American pathocracy that they are seeking every way possible to stop using our money in international trade settlements. That money, our dollar, became the world’s reserve currency because our country ended up on top in the previous world war and for the better part of a century afterward dominated the planet militarily. Naturally, as our leadership turned more pathological and pathocratic, so did our military endeavors — until lately they amount to little more than just smashing up other countries to show we can do it.
These other countries must wonder which is the next place that America will try to smash up? Two of these other countries, Russia and China, are coming around to the realization that they are possibly better equipped to do the smashing than America is. There is no indication that our pathocracy recognizes that the next smash-up may be World War Three, and that we may not emerge from it victorious.”
