The Climate Grift
Those pushing the climate religion are not adherents, they’re grifters gaining power and money off the rest of us
“Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled. Whenever you hear the consensus of scientists agrees on something or other, reach for your wallet, because you’re being had. The greatest scientists in history are great precisely because they broke with the consensus.”—Michael Crichton
This is a follow-up to my piece from yesterday that included several of the recent ludicrous stories from the climate change religion.
Blocking Out the Sun, and Other Stupidity from the Pagan Climate Religion
The above photo is of a solar eclipse. That occurs naturally as part of God’s design. Of course, the central planners fashion themselves as gods. And to combat manmade climate change, a myth of their own creation, they say, to paraphrase Smash Mouth, “We might as well be blocking out the sun.”
The stories I reported on are ludicrous and downright stupid. But make no mistake, those central planners fomenting the fear of climate change know what they’re doing. They are effectively the televangelists of the pagan climate change religion playing on the emotions of other for their own profit and power grabs.
And they have their adherents who glue themselves to airport taxiways to disrupt air traffic:
Or those destroying art in the name of their pagan god:
This push, like the covid lie, is about the Great Reset plans for total control over the rest of us.
“At the end of June, government leaders and think-tank power brokers from around the world met at the Summit for a New Global Financing Pact in Paris. Participants include United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and World Bank President Ajay Banga.
The supposed purpose of the summit was to find financial solutions to the goals of tackling poverty while simultaneously curbing ‘planet-heating emissions.’ As with all climate change related events the discussion in Paris inevitably turned to international centralization of power and the formation of a global consortium to fix the problems that they claim sovereign nations cannot or will not fix.
However, what I’m seeing more and more in the past couple years is a convergence of narratives – Central banks and international banks are now suddenly more concerned with carbon taxation and global warming than they seem to be concerned with stagflation and economic collapse. Likely because this was the goal all along and economic collapse is part of the plan.”
The solutions, according to these central planners, is a carbon tax taking $2.4 trillion annually from the American people, Smith reported. Those funds would then go into the hands of their buddies for “climate change developments.” Another big solution is a new monetary system, think central bank digital currencies.
Of course, these central planners won’t give up their lifestyles cushy lifestyles. We often see the hypocrisy of these central planners jetting around to their little summits. We’ll see the same when electric vehicles are mandated on the masses while the central planners will continue to own and drive real cars with real engines with expensive “clean fuel” that the rest of us can’t afford.
“When – God help us – EVs are everywhere, it will be common to drive an EV. Those who can still afford to drive a real car, with an engine, will acquire status as well as privilege in the much the same way that 120 or so years ago, being able to afford a car (any car) elevated one above the walking and pedaling and horse-draw-cart-riding masses.”
This has been a long-term plan as the late Victor Porlier, a former Chief of Information Systems Development in the Agency for International Development at the State Department, detailed in an email to Tim Brown. Brown published the email at Sons of Liberty Media.
Porlier wrote the answer to whether this is an agenda for a One World Government lies in the stated agendas of certain groups like the Club of Rome in the 1960s.
A 1991 Club of Rome publication called “The First Global Revolution” stated:
“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.”
David Rockefeller, a funder of the Club of Rome, wrote in his memoirs:
“For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have … attacked the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions.
Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”
Porlier wrote:
“Ever since, the Club of Rome has been establishing a network of 33 national associations. and their many tentacles of influence have been systematically propagating their catastrophic future vision into the mainstream of global public opinion.
They have been doing this through their controlled mass media cartel as well as their philanthropic foundations and corporations to fund research grants to approved ‘scientists’ to advance their hypotheses, including man-made global warming and the dying off of the polar bears, as being ‘settled science.’
Today their theories and proposed action plans have entered the educational establishment, think tanks, and activist organizations, the mass media, political action committees, and Capitol Hill.
Leading advocates include many public figures and such prominent Beltway representatives as Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) on the Senate Committee on Appropriations and Congressman Paul Tonko (D-NY) the chairman of the House Subcommittee on Environment and Climate Change.
What is veiled from the inattentive majority is the role of elitists, who are leaders in finance, corporations, foundations, think tanks, universities, and mass news and entertainment media, as well as in civil government….
The initial impetus for policy change and initial resources for research, planning, and formulation come from corporate and personal wealth channeled into tax-free foundations, universities, policy-oriented think tanks, and non-governmental organizations in the form of endowments, grants, and contracts.
Moreover, corporate presidents, directors, top wealth holders, key advisors, and their lawyers also sit on the governing boards of many such institutions to guide and monitor the progress of their plans….
The Club of Rome is advancing the agenda of Thomas Malthus who argued that population was held within resource limits by two types of checks: 1) positive ones, which raised the death rate, and 2) preventative ones, which lowered the birth rate. The positive checks included hunger, disease and war; the preventative checks, abortion, birth control, prostitution, homosexuality, postponement of marriage, and celibacy.
And that is why the well-funded Green Socialism’s drumbeat continues to intensify.”
It’s all a lie. It’s a con. And it’s a costly con for all of us.
“The popular narrative about climate change reflects a dangerous corruption of science that threatens the world’s economy and the well-being of billions of people.”—Dr. John Clauser, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist
