Trump Celebrates Gay ‘Marriage’ at Mar-a-Lago, Conservatives Remain Silent
After Biden signs “Respect for Marriage Act,” Trump holds Log Cabin Republicans where proud sodomites celebrated that act
Romans 1:18-32:
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.”
“Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”
“For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.”
“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”
Donald Trump was hailed as the “most pro-gay President in American history” last Thursday by members of the Log Cabin Republicans as Mar-a-Lago hosted an event to celebrate the new falsely titled “Respect for Marriage Act,” which has been described as codifying gay mirage into law, which was signed by Joe Biden a few days prior to Trump’s event.
The act required Republican support, as I wrote a few weeks ago. It was passed by a 67-32 margin in the U.S. Senate. It needed 60 votes to end debate meaning the Republicans could have stopped it.
Instead, the GOP is celebrating the downfall of society and shaking their fists at God. The Trump event included several attendees who are embraced by conservatives.
Doug Mainwaring wrote for Life Site News:
“Just two days after Joe Biden signed the so-called ‘Respect for Marriage Act’ [RMA] into law, LGBT Republicans celebrated its enactment at a gala event at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort home, hosted by the former president himself.”
“Trump was joined by Arizona’s 2022 GOP gubernatorial candidate, Kari Lake, and an array of high profile ‘GayCons’ (homosexual ‘conservatives’) including former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell, a Trump appointee, and frequent Tucker Carlson guest commentator Chadwick Moore.”
“Fox News’ Tammy Bruce, a lesbian, received the ‘Spirit of Lincoln Award’ from the Log Cabin Republicans, the GOP LGBT organization which sponsored the event. Last year’s recipient was former First Lady Melania Trump.”
“Here’s the thing: Instead of celebrating the passage and enactment of the new law, President Trump and Kari Lake should’ve seized the opportunity to renounce it.”
“And instead of congratulating the 500 or so ‘GayCons’ gathered in Mar-a-Lago’s ballroom, Trump and Lake should’ve asked these men and women to show that they truly are conservatives by affirming the immutable definition of marriage – as conjugal and complementary – and repudiating RMA.”
So far, Life Site News is the only conservative outlet that I can find that has actually covered the event.
The “gala centered around the new same-sex marriage law,” according to Politico. Politico reported:
“Hundreds of guests in tuxedos of all styles — sequined, quilted, velvet — and colorful gowns sipped on Trump-branded champagne and martinis. Between courses of steak and bite-sized Key lime pie, they danced to ‘YMCA’ and ‘Macho Man,’ the disco anthems at Trump rallies.”
“Thursday night’s Log Cabin Republicans’ ‘Spirit of Lincoln’ gala in the main ballroom of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago beachfront club was a joyous celebration of gay rights and — in a case of ironic timing — the historic same-sex marriage law signed by President Joe Biden days earlier.”
It should be noted, there’s no such thing as “gay rights.” There’s no such thing as “straight rights.” There’s no such thing as “minority rights” or “majority rights.” There are fundamental human rights, which are the same for all of us, given to us by God because we are all created in His image.
Politico noted a few more attendees like Rep. Kat Cammack of Florida and Morgan Ortagus, who was a State Department spokeswoman during the Trump regime.
Trump told the sodomites:
“We are fighting for the gay community, and we are fighting and fighting hard. With the help of many of the people here tonight in recent years, our movement has taken incredible strides, the strides you’ve made here is incredible.”
Lake gave an expletive-laced speech, and Bruce said there are still problems in the GOP with bigots, but more of them will come around to defying God’s design when their kids are gay. Bruce said:
“I know there are problems still with how we are viewed on occasion. But what I also know is that visibility matters and that bigotry only survives because people only can use their imagination. Suddenly things changed when you find out that your son or daughter is gay.”
As for the gay mirage act, it’s passage and signing can only be viewed as a full-on attack of God. Tim Brown wrote for Sons of Liberty:
“With the recent, unlawful passage of The Respect For Marriage Act by Congress, which is anything but respect for marriage, there lies on the horizon a full frontal assault not just upon the Creator, but also His People, the Church.”
It comes as no surprise that Trump continues to promote sodomy. Last year, Mar-a-Lago played host as the “GOP Pride Coalition” was created. Trump openly championed his support for sodomites as candidate in 2016, and a former Trump counselor Kellyanne Conway recently bragged that he was “the first president to come to office already in favor of gay marriage.”
As the gay mirage act was passed, many conservatives were quick to pounce on the Republicans who supported the egregious bill, like Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa who is facing censure from GOP county groups in Iowa or Sen. Todd Young of Indiana who has been censured. With regards to Trump, the silence is deafening as conservatives, by and large, refuse to say anything about his embrace of proud sinners. It’s no wonder 71% of Americans support depravity, including 55% of Republicans, according to polls.
Trump is embracing the very same sodomites who are trying to purge the Republican Party of Bible believing Christians, like Grenell who attacked Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) who rightly criticized Republicans who supported the perverted bill.
The Log Cabin Republicans have been attacking Texas Republicans for holding to traditional values, as detailed by Pedro Gonzalez, a writer for Chronicles Magazine, in a Twitter thread regarding Trump’s sodomite event.
Gonzalez is spot on for the most part, but I will conclude with one area where he and the few that still care about traditional values, like Life Site News, get things wrong. That is on whether this bill codifies gay mirage into law. It does not.
There is absolutely no mention of marriage in the Constitution. It is not there. That means the federal government has no authority to write any laws related to marriage. They do not have authority to legalize gay “marriage,” nor do they have authority to make it illegal. It simply is not in their domain to do anything regarding marriage.
But, like baby murder (called abortion), the conservatives submit to the world’s language that something is legal simply because a court says so or a bill is passed by Congress. Abortion has always been illegal. Marriage has never been the domain of the government.
Stop submitting to the lies, and start living by truth.
