What Are We Fighting For?
America’s Military Industrial Complex is destroying our nation, and for what?
Musical artist Bill Ward recently put out his latest song, “What are We Fighting For?”
It’s a “satirical parody lampooning the proxy war in Ukraine,” Ward’s YouTube description states, and “all the other scandalous guile in The Empire of Lies.”
I’ve written quite a bit on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the utter lies and propaganda being foisted on us. Here’s just a few of my most recent pieces:

The whole thing is being propagated by an intense Russophobia that’s been drilled into the American culture for decades.
A series of clips from an interview with retired Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor explains a lot of what is going on. On the Russophobia, Macgregor said:
“Russia still has the legacy of the Cold War behind it, and what that means is it’s easy to convince people that it’s easy to convince people the Russians are bad, Russians are evil. After all, wasn’t the Soviet Union bad and evil? This country today is radically different. If anything, it is extremely religious, culturally conservative and I think the Russian military, contrary to what’s being reported in the Western media, has behaved extraordinarily well. It’s not guilty of 90% of the war crimes of which it’s being accused. On the other hand, Ukrainian military has behaved atrociously and murdered people in large numbers and celebrated it in Nazi fashion.”
Macgregor added:
“Russia is by no means the evil aggressor in this thing. If anything, Russia launched an operation that it felt it had to to secure its country. We have been working tirelessly for at least the last 20 years to undermine and weaken Russian in whatever way possible. We decided we didn’t care much for Mr. Putin and his success at essentially retrieving Russia from the ash heap of history, and then the Russians made it very clear that they would not accept NATO on its borders.”
And this is all fueled by what has fueled the American war machine for over a century. It’s utter arrogance, self-righteousness sold to the American people that we must police the world. None of it has to do with our freedom or our security. It’s all about profits for the Military Industrial Complex.
Macgregor said:
“Here we are, dealing with this troublesome business of expanding NATO knowing full well that it would precipitate this crisis, then we celebrate the war and decide this is our opportunity to destroy Russia. Why? Why? What’s the point of destroying Russia?
We seem to want to involve ourselves in everyone’s internal affairs. We don’t seem to want to respect other people’s cultures, other people’s way of doing business. We’re busy judging everyone else against an utterly meaningless standard because quite frankly things in the United States are not very good and haven’t been for a very long time.”
The “Russia bad, Ukraine good” narrative is an outright lie. But for the sake of the rest of this piece, I’m going to focus on the “Ukraine good” lie.
Let’s start with just reminding you that Ukraine is full of actual Nazis. Really, and I’ve written about it before from Nazis being used to pimp the war at foreign parliaments to Nazis being used as mainstream American media sources.
Robert Spencer wrote for Front Page Mag:
“There has been considerable concern since before the start of the war in Ukraine about the influence of National Socialists, or Nazis, there, and now it has gotten considerably worse. Rather than apologize for or at very least ignore the nation’s past ties to National Socialism, the city council in the nation’s capital of Kyiv is reportedly considering naming a street after a National Socialist collaborator who actually served in the SS during the Holocaust, Volodymyr Kubiyovych. Apparently the Ukrainian government is so certain that Western aid will continue that it feels no hesitation about flaunting its openness to National Socialism.”
Here’s a horrifying story the mainstream media isn’t interested in inquiring into. A Russian soldier has allegedly discovered a disturbing factory in Ukraine where children, estimated to be aged 2 to 7 years old, are being farmed for their organs or to be sold into sex slavery.
That’s according to a video posted by The People’s Voice. The Russian soldier says:
“There, they got undressed on the first floor. And on the second floor… they got carved up.
Like discarded waste, they were either kept in pits or taken out somewhere. And those guys they, you know, were talking about them (kids) as if… they were slaughtering some livestock like a piglet or a rabbit….
I had heard about it, but I didn’t believe it. Until seeing this with one’s own eyes, one cannot comprehend it. But when you see it, you won’t forgive.”
This is a shocking allegation, one that you would think we’d want to confirm the accuracy of at least. Instead, it’s ignored. The People’s Voice has reported on similar allegations suggesting the going rate for a baby or young child is $150,000.
Brian Shilhavy noted for Vaccine Impact that such factory farming of children is Ukraine has been documented before, including in a 2021 Polish documentary “Eyes of the Devil.” It is available on YouTube, but is age restricted:
Expose the fraud and deceit of Ukrainian oligarch Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who we Americans have been forced to send him billions while he embezzles hundreds of millions for himself, could get you landed in jail both over there and here in America.
Earlier this month, the Security Service of Ukraine arrested American journalist Gonzalo Lira in Kharkov for “producing and distributing materials justifying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine,” RT reported. Keep in mind, Lira is an American arrested for his speech by a foreign nation. And not one single mainstream media outlet, on the so-called “left” or “right,” has even bothered to report on this.
“Ukraine’s recent implementation of laws criminalizing dissent, banning opposition political parties, nationalizing the media, and even persecuting the Ukrainian Orthodox Church for maintaining canonical communion with Moscow has raised concerns among free speech advocates. These actions have been criticized for undermining democratic values and creating a chilling effect on freedom of expression.
The detainment of Gonzalo Lira serves as a stark reminder of the delicate balance between national security and individual liberties, especially during times of conflict. It also raises questions about the Zelensky administration's dedication to democratic principles and the obligation of its Western supporters to address these concerns. As the situation in Ukraine continues to unfold, it is crucial for the international community to remain vigilant in advocating for the protection of freedom of speech and other fundamental rights, while holding governments accountable for their actions.
Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, Western media and governments have systematically overlooked or even suppressed news and information about any undemocratic, criminal, or corrupt activities or even war crimes committed by the Ukrainian side of the conflict, while emphasizing the same from the Russian side.”
And this doesn’t just apply to Americans abroad. The Biden regime recently indicted four Americans for “conspiracy to spread Russian propaganda.” And these Americans are leftists, but leftists who have retained their anti-war positions while the rest of the anti-war left has seemingly went extinct.
And it’s not just speech being eliminated in Ukraine. It’s freedom of religion. Priests from an ancient Christian community are regularly publicly mocked and arrested.
“The hidden war no Western media wants you to see or know about is the one being waged by the Ukrainian government against one of the most ancient Christian communities present in the world today.
The West is using its proxy stooge, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to wage this war against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Ukraine is already a one-party state under the Zelenskyy regime where all opposition is banned and the government has effectively nationalized the country’s entire media. Now Zelenskyy is demanding that a top cleric of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church be placed under house arrest for at least 60 days….
The godless U.S. State Department has always had a hatred for the Eastern Orthodox Church, whether it be in Russia or Ukraine, because of its conservative values that stand firm against its radical pro-abortion, LGBTQ+ anti-family, anti-God insanity.
The U.S. is not only using Zelenskyy’s government to deal a black eye to Russia, it is using the war to drive wedges in Ukrainian society itself, lighting a fuse of hatred in the hearts of the more Westernized, secular Ukrainians against the Orthodox.”
Here’s another insane story. Zelenskyy, demanding every male be a part of his Nazi forces, has instituted a draft that includes disabled men being forced to fight. Here’s a photo, published by Information Liberation, of the handless Ruslan Kubay:
The Wall Street Journal reported:
“There have been public scandals involving inappropriate call-ups and videos appearing to show men being roughed up by enlistment officers for refusing a summons. A disabled person was drafted in western Ukraine and pronounced fit for service despite having no hands. Another died on the front lines within a month of mobilization after 10 days of training, according to his relatives.
Officials last week denied that untrained mobilized troops were being sent to battle unprepared, though they said the length of military training has been squeezed into a shorter period due to the war. ‘Kremlin propaganda continues to spread fakes and myths,’ Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar said in a Telegram post. Several soldiers interviewed by The Wall Street Journal near Bakhmut last week said they had been sent to battle within days of being called up. Others say they have received several weeks of training.”
“Ruslan Kubay was surprised to receive a draft notice in late January. Registered as seriously disabled since childhood -- Mr Kubay is missing both hands -- he falls under a list of automatic exemptions from service. Even more surprising, however, was the reaction of officials at the local registration office in Drohobych, near Lviv. Far from admitting their error, they doubled down and declared him fit for service. Only a social-media post and a subsequent national scandal reversed the decision.”
So, what are we fighting for?
We certainly aren’t fighting for our security. We damn sure aren’t fighting for our freedom. This is about the bigger agenda, the power mad globalist agenda to control the world.
And for the innocent Ukrainians caught up under the thumb of their evil dictator and our evil regime, the Military Industrial Complex does not have one ounce of sympathy for them. We’ve used Ukraine as a guinea pig nation experimenting on them.
For an example, I recently wrote:
https://sethhancock.substack.com/p/taking-responsibility-covid-19-made-02f
Furthermore, I wrote last year for The Liberty Loft on the U.S. documentation admitting to funding “COVID-19 Research” in November of 2019 in an American biolab located in Ukraine. It wasn’t until February of 2020 that “COVID-19” was the designated name by the World Health Organization, but America was funding research in Ukraine by that name.
Or how about this from The Organic Prepper where Marie Hawthorne wrote:
“Fighting between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for a little over a year now, ending the lives of hundreds of thousands of young men and displacing millions. Ukraine’s Defense Minister, Oleksii Reznikov, invited Western arms manufacturers to test their newest weapons against Russians in 2022. And indeed, all kinds of weaponry have been flowing into Ukraine. It is truly a testing ground….
Here’s what the US is funding in Ukraine.
Yes, actually. Volodymyr Zelensky became president of Ukraine in May 2019, and almost immediately he introduced his idea of a ‘country in a smartphone.’
In early September 2019, Ukraine launched its Ministry of Digital Transformation, headed by a World Economic Forum participant, Mykhailo Fedorov According to Federov, the goal of this new government department was to streamline government services, making it easier to apply for driver’s licenses, passports, and so on. Ukraine has long held the reputation as Europe’s most corrupt country, and young politicians like Federov want to take advantage of new technology to make changes.
So, in early February 2020, the Ukrainian government launched its Diia app for smartphones. Developed by volunteers from EPAM Systems, Diaa has been touted as a way to streamline government services. By 2021 it had allowed Ukraine to become the first European nation to accord digital passports and one of the first to issue digital drivers’ licenses. Federov reported in 2021 that about one-fourth of the Ukrainian population was using it, and it was gaining in popularity. As of January 2023, about half the adult Ukrainian population was using it….
Within a year of its launch, millions of Ukrainians found that their personal data, such as driver’s licenses, social media information, and banking information, were being traded online. There’s always been the risk of losing your wallet and your driver’s license, but with everything online, the risks of fraud and identity theft increase astronomically.
Early on in his presidency, Zelensky talked about streamlining the voting process via the app. Aside from the fact that experts have never agreed about the safety of online voting, by July 2022, Zelensky had banned political opposition parties and shut down media companies with alternative views. Having one central app that controls everyone’s important documents makes it far easier for any ruling party to maintain its power.
Controlling elections is only the beginning. Diia launched in February 2020, and by March 2020, Diia was helping the Ukrainian government enforce its lockdown policies, as discussed in the recent report by Redacted.”
