Abortion on the rise post-Roe, pills biggest weapon used to murder the pre-born
And the GOP and “pro-life” industry are helping
The pro-baby murder organization The Guttmacher Institute has released data showing that the number of babies murdered through abortion is on the rise since the end of Roe v. Wade. Furthermore, abortion pills is the leading weapon used to murder babies.
According to The Guttmacher Institute:
“New findings from the Monthly Abortion Provision Study show that an estimated 1,026,690 abortions occurred in the formal health care system in 2023, the first full calendar year after the US Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization overturned Roe v. Wade. This represents a rate of 15.7 abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age, and is a 10% increase since 2020, the last year for which comprehensive estimates are available. It is also the highest number and rate measured in the United States in over a decade.”
Furthermore, The Guttmacher Institute reports:
“New Guttmacher Institute research from the Monthly Abortion Provision Study shows that there were approximately 642,700 medication abortions in the United States in 2023, accounting for 63% of all abortions in the formal health care system. This is an increase from 2020, when medication abortions accounted for 53% of all abortions.”
All of this is aided and abetted by the feckless, weak and corrupt Republican party and “pro-life” industry that have put political power over principles and protecting our unborn neighbors who, like us, are created in the image of God.
I’ve written several times about the “pro-life” industry. Here are a few of those pieces:

The reality is that despite all the bluster about “pro-life” laws being passed in several GOP states, abortion remains legal in all 50 states. That’s because the “pro-life” industry and Republicans, trained under the felonious belief of judicial supremacy, have turned into leftwingers more interested in regulating abortion, not ending it by the simple act of defining life as beginning at conception meaning the unborn would be protected under current laws.
Part of it is due to the “pro-life” industry and Republicans continuing to demand that mothers, who hire assassins or order drugs and self-administer their abortions, always be viewed as victims.
As one of my pieces above notes, Oklahoma has shut down abortion clinics. Fantastic. But guess what? It’s one of the leading states for ordering abortion pills online, shipped for free from the “pro-life” state of Texas, and that’s considered “legal” under their law.
Reality is that those numbers reported by The Guttmacher Institute are probably even worse than what’s being reported. How many of those pills ordered online and administered in the comfort of a mother’s home reported?
As Rome Fell, So Shall America
“On top of this, in 2023 the FDA approved the first over-the-counter abortion pill for all ages called Opill, the same way you can buy aspirin and eyedrops. It was first allowed to be purchased online and is now set to hit the shelves soon….
Last October The WinePress noted another report that indicated abortions were already on the rise since Roe Vs. Wade was overturned; and months before that, I also reported that American support for abortions reached an all-time high at 70%, according to a Gallup poll – and, if that’s what they are reporting, then I would contend the real number is even much higher….
The nation has spoken and their pride is resilient: they love the murder and shedding of blood of innocents; and contrary to the stouthearted and willfully ignorant “Christians” who continue to claim that God could restore the nation if we ‘repent’ and vote for the right politician, the Lord will not pardon this transgression, of which is just but one of many.”—Jacob Thompson
The parallels between the Roman Empire and the American Empire are striking. We have a gargantuan national debt that will never be paid off. We have a war machine willing to kill innocents abroad all for profit and building empire. Both the “left” and “right” embrace sodomites. Bread and circus is all around.
The list goes on and on. And included is the disregard for human life, most notably the young and unborn.
According to the Oxford Classical Dictionary, the “right to kill… was perpetuated in the Roman literature” pertaining to parents, fathers in particular.
According to Early Church History:
“Roman law, religion and the entire ethos of the ancient world saw nothing morally wrong with infanticide or with abandoning their newborns on the dung heaps or garbage dumps of cities….
The Christian idea that each individual person has worth because they were created by God was foreign to the lies of pagan society where the State, the tribe, the collective was the only value they knew.”
Unfortunately, along with the feckless, weak, spineless and corrupt GOP and “pro-life” industry, the same goes for the American Corporate Church.
Chuck Baldwin described the American Corporate Church as a “generation of spoiled, lazy, comfort-laden, cowardly, sheepish, success-motivated, passive pulpits.”
Of the early Christians, Baldwin noted:
“From the earliest days of Christianity, believers were politically and socially engaged in their communities and countries. During the Roman Empire, a baby was not protected by law until the father granted it official human status. Until then, babies could be legally killed or allowed to die. Christians by the thousands would go out into the streets at night and rescue babies that had been ‘thrown away’ and left to die.”
Christians need to be active in the system. Does that mean voting? No.
Now, if you’ve read my stuff before, you know I have no plans on voting this election, at least not for federal positions. Even so, I’m not saying you can’t vote.
However, the most important way for us to be active is speaking truth to the government, and to the world, that is destroying us. And we must speak the truth without shame, without compromise. The pastors of this country need to stop worrying about filling their coffers and start focusing on preaching the whole truth. No watered-down messages.
Pastor Matt Trewhella, of Mercy Seat Christian Church in Wisconsin, provided an example when he testified before the Wisconsin State Legislative Committee on Jan. 22.
Despite a previous law that shut down abortion mills in the state, 40 Republicans introduced a bill to reopen them. On Jan. 25, that bill (AB975) was approved with the support of 53 Republicans.
Prior to that vote, Trewhella spoke truth to them. But the GOP did not listen and has blood on their hands.
Trewhella said:
“For nearly 50 years, the Republican party here in Wisconsin hid behind the Supreme Court and Roe v. Wade stating that, ‘We are against abortion but the Supreme Court has ruled and all we can do is obey.’ And that's a lie, a lie, as judicial supremacy has always been a lie, a lie which has caused much evil to be brought into our land.
It was all your duty, all those 50 years, to defy the federal judiciary and stop the evil here in our state. It's called the doctrine of the lesser magistrate. You can learn more at defytyrants.com. It is also, just as if another branch here in our state government says you can murder people, your duty to interpose and check that branch and not allow the people to be murdered. Stand against the evil the other branch is doing.
When the Dobbs opinion came down, I told people that the Republicans can no longer hide behind SCOTUS. Their evil will be exposed. They will take action to murder the pre-born, and here we are. And how ironic that we're here on January 22nd, the anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision itself. The very day the court opinion that oversaw the slaughter of more than 60 million people, the Republicans have gathered to produce a law that slaughters the pre-born people.
Planned Parenthood has been flouting Wisconsin's statute since September. No Proclamation from this lawful body. Certainly none from the 40 who signed on to this bill denouncing this flouting of Wisconsin law. No proclamation, no declaration against it, no condemnation of the blood being shed in our state.
And in their madness, these 40 Republicans signed onto this bill, wanted it to be a referendum and foisted upon the people to vote on it. Why? So you can wash your hands of the innocent blood of those you conspire to murder. But your hands will not be washed. They are covered with blood as is the hands of every Wisconsinite, and you cannot wash your hands of the blood that is on them by handing the pre-born over to the mob.
We live in a republic, not a democracy. And no majority of people should be able to vote to murder other people, ever. Your duty is to govern according to His tule, and His law states you shall not murder….”
Rep. Lisa Subeck (D-WI78), at around the 2:48-mark in the above video, interrupts and attempts to violate Trewhella’s First Amendment rights because he called abortion murder and she thinks the murder of the unborn is “safe and legal medical care.”
After some back and forth, Trewhella continued:
“Your duty is to govern according to God’s rule and as law states, you shall not murder. As William Blackstone, the most cited legal scholar by America's founders, said no human laws should be suffered which contradict God's law. The psalmist asked the Lord, ‘Shall the throne of iniquity which devises evil by law have fellowship with you, oh Lord? They gather together against the life of the righteous and condemn innocent blood.’ (Psalm 94:20-21)
Evil devised by law is a throne of iniquity. That is what this lawful body, the Wisconsin legislature, is attempting to do. Devise evil by law.
And so the prophet Isaiah, and I close with this, speaks to men who behave as the 40 Republicans on this bill are behaving and states: ‘Their works are works of iniquity and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they have not known, and there is no justice in their ways, says the Lord.’ (Isaiah 59:6-8)
Do your duty regarding this bill committee and kill it. It is a work of iniquity.”
