Pride Month Part IV: Where are the pastors and Christian men?
The solution to our depraved society: repent, fight, build
“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way, and the perverse mouth I hate.”—Proverbs 8:13
In Part I, I wrote about how the celebration of sin during Pride Month is a reminder that our society is near collapse. In Part II, I wrote about how both sides of the political circus are to blame for the porous state of our nation. In Part III, I wrote about how America is the enforcement arm of the globalists in trying to force this depravity and perversion around the world.
In this final piece, I want to provide some solutions with a series of videos from Matt Trewhella, pastor of Mercy Seat Christian Church in Milwaukee, WI. And quite frankly, the solutions are rather simple, it just takes some courage. Christians need to repent, fight and build.
Before that, we need to understand that God’s judgement is clearly on us. God’s judgment has probably been on us for some time now. The wide embrace of Pride Month is the in-our-faces reminder that the American corporate church is a complete and utter failure.
From the holocaust of abortion to the open sodomite agenda advancing to the compliant, obedient, slave American allowing the government to call them “nonessential” over a freaking cold virus (that might not even exist), it’s clear that we’re in a period of God’s judgement.
And where are the churches? Where are the pastors?
They’re busy appeasing the world, trying to be loved by the world. They want to increase their coffers or protect their precious tax-exempt status. They’ve abdicated their duty to government making government their god. They exhibit the same pride, the same arrogance as the Pride Month celebrators. They exhibit the same narcissism as the world:
Neutered Christianity on Display at Super Bowl
“In the beginning God created man in His own image, and man has been trying to repay the favor ever since.”—Voltaire If you tuned into the Super Bowl on Sunday, in which the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35, you may have seen the He Gets Us commercials.
Take the widely popular show among conservative Christians, The Chosen, which proudly displays the “Pride Flag” on set.
It’s clear that there’s a major spiritual problem in America, and the American corporate churches don’t even care. Shame on it. The churches are full of pansy, neutered, spineless and feminized men in our maternalistic society.
The Solution
Although I’m indicting the American corporate church, it is not an indictment on every church and every pastor. However, those engaged in the righteous fight are few and far between.
Trewhella is one of those pastors who is in the world, not of the world. He put out a series of videos on how to address the spiritual battle in our time and the general tyranny around us. We need to repent, fight and build. He also posted a video of the need for men to start standing up and taking responsibility.
On the need for repentance, Trewhella said:
“You have to understand the importance of repentance. We are going nowhere without repentance. Repentance has to do with God governing our lives. We have to turn from our rebellion and embrace His rule. The level to which we repent will determine the level to which the Kingdom of God is formed in our lives.”
The tyrants have been released on us, Trewhella said, and “the inaction of Christians has been huge in my lifetime. Their indifference to civil government matters has been astounding to me.” The American churches are in desperate need of repentance.
On the need to fight, Trewhella said:
“When it comes to fighting, it can be difficult because they are burning our country down so quickly and in so many ways, people don’t know where to focus, or where to act or where to make a strategic move against the evil that they’re doing.”
We have to be ready to resist evil, no matter the consequences and with no compromise.
On the need to build, Trewhella said:
“In the midst of God’s judgement, He is already building. God is building during His judgment. Many people think, ‘Well, after the judgment’s over, then we can rebuild.’ No, God is building already while the judgment is in the land. For instance, He’s judging the form of Christianity that’s been prevalent in the West and here in America for decades and decades now, and He’s replacing it already with a tougher, more Biblical form of Christianity. That’s being built in the midst of the judgment.”
And men need to stop backing down and stand up to fight this wickedness.
Trewhella said:
“As our government has become more lawless, a popular question has become where are the men? People are asking this question because most of those showing up at public hearings to confront the tyranny are women. Hence the question, where are the men?
First off, understand that men have been under attack by design of the government for over 50 years here in America. A short perusal of our laws, policies and court opinions demonstrate that. Entertainment and news media reveal that. We live in a matriarchal hell. And worse yet, the vast majority of churchmen have joined the state and the men haters in effeminizing men via their miminy, piminy pulpits.
The spirituality of churchmen now is measured by how soft and ladylike they are. Yet, the question remains legitimate, where are the men? And more pointedly, where are the men who fear God and have love and fealty to Christ, the men who can not live in peaceful coexistence with the idols and evils and tyrants who trample the law and word of God? Where are they?
The Book of Acts reveals a Christianity wholly opposite of the current form of Christianity. In Acts 17, for example, there is a conflict between the people of Thessalonica and the Christians. The Jews and the evil men gathered there against Paul and Silas and the Christians, accused the Christians to the civil authorities stating, ‘These who have turned the world upside down have come here to, and these are also acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king, Jesus.’
This is classic Christianity in action. True Christianity confronts the false religions and paganism of the cultures whether its with the Jews and evil men here in chapter 17 or the followers of in Diana in chapter 19 or the streets of post-Christian America in our day. True Christianity comes into conflict with the religion and idols of cultures. True Christianity confronts the idols and evils and tyrants of nations.
‘These who have turned the world upside down.’ This means those who are declaring something contrary to what we have known. To them, this was an attack upon their filthy way of life, a possible end to their status quo. They have turned the world upside down. They are acting contrary to Caesar’s decrees. They are declaring another king’s rule.
And this brings a conflict. And we have to ask, where are these kind of men in our day? The world is screaming for these kind of men. Men who love God, who have fealty to Christ, men who will speak, men who will act.
But most churchmen and Christian men in our day want nothing to do with conflict. They do not want to confront the idols and evil and tyrants of their day. They teach that we should conform to the evil edicts of Caesar, that there should never be a conflict. And if there is, those Christians causing it are bad Christians. That we are always to obey the state, that conflict is bad, confrontation should be avoided, accommodation and appeasement should be sought.
The effeminate, who fill America’s pulpits in our day, sit in their pious rot, swallowing camels and straining at gnats, and it is grievous to the hearts of men. And so, I ask again, where are these men?
We must shake ourselves, brothers. Where are these men? We must be those men. We must be those men in our day. We must shake ourselves free, brothers, from American Christianity. It is nothing more than a cheap whore which will sell itself for a morsel, consumed with its narcissism and its consumerism and its pedestalism.
Brethren, we must be those kind of men. We need a move of the Holy Spirit in our lives, brothers. Let us speak. Let us act. Let us confront. Let us not flee from the conflict. But rather let our hearts burn within us when we see the law and word of God being impugned by men and the governments of men. And may we confront it. Let us be those men.”
We also need to remember that the right side wins in the end. We may lose some battles in this world. We cannot allow that to be an excuse to follow the world for our own comfort. We need to be willing to put our jobs on the line, put our comfort on the line and even put our safety on the line. We need to fear God, not men.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”—James 1:12
