Holocaust survivor Dr. Maté: Israel 1,000 times worse than Hamas
Listen to this knowledge and avoid the American neocon propagandists trying to start WWIII
“The words fail me at this point. It’s difficult to explain how to perceive the situation, but in a certain deep sense I feel that it’s the worst thing I’ve seen in my whole life. And it’s impossible to compare atrocities. I mean, nothing compares with the mechanized murder of 5, 6 million Jews by the Nazis. But what is different about this is that I’ve never seen anything so publicly committed, such atrocities perpetrated on television and the victims are presented as the perpetrators. And either this spectacle, this obscene, vicious spectacle that we’re subjected to is either supported or condoned by the major media and all the politicians.”—Dr. Gabor Maté
Maté is a survivor of the Holocaust who lost his grandparents and most of his extended family in Auschwitz. He is one of the Jewish voices ignored by the American media that I wrote about previously:
In that piece, I linked to a piece by Brian Shilhavy for Vaccine Impact. I noted that one of the videos of Maté in that Shilhavy piece had been removed by YouTube. Since then, Shilhavy has reloaded the video to Bitchute.
In it, Maté describes how he had become a Zionist calling it a “Jewish dream.” But after visiting the occupied territory during the first intifada in the late 1980s, early 1990s, he said to make that “dream a reality we had to visit a nightmare on the local population.”
After visiting, Maté said he “cried every day for two weeks after what I saw” with the oppression and expulsion of people off their land. He described it as a cruel, persistent and murderous removal of Palestinians off their land, and “it’s the longest ethnic cleansing operation in the 20th and 21st centuries.” And it is now worse today.
Noting the irony, Maté said it is illegal to deny the Holocaust in Israel while also illegal to recognize the 1948 Nakba. As a believer in free speech, Maté said he opposes those laws.
Maté said the Israeli government actively shuts down dissent. One of the ways is by labeling anyone who criticizes the Israeli government as antisemitic. Obviously, that is nonsensical on many levels, but consider that folks like Maté, a Holocaust survivor, is considered antisemitic by the Zionists for simply criticizing government. Also note, Palestinians are semitic.
Historian Ilan Poppe was effectively driven out of Israel to move to England because it was too difficult to be honest in Israel. Norman Finkelstein, a Jewish professor and Gaza expert, was denied tenure for publicly disagreeing with Israel’s policies. Israeli Defense Forces soldiers have been whistleblowers speaking on the brutality they’ve been ordered to commit. Israeli military pilots have refused to fly over Gaza because they know they’ll be ordered to commit atrocities.
And Maté noted that many Palestinians “in some ways, they might be descendants of ancient Jews. They’re cousins at the very least.”
Maté said:
“Who are these people in Gaza?... It’s a small area where there are these multiple hundreds of thousands of people. Who are those people? The direct children or grandchildren are the people that were expelled from Israel or what is not Israel.
Now, here’s the outrage…. I as a Jew, I could land in Tel Aviv tomorrow and demand citizenship under the law of the right of return, but my Palestinian friend in Vancouver, Hana Kawas, who was born in Jerusalem, can’t even visit. So, what sense is that….
So, then you have these miserable people packed into this horrible, people call it the world’s largest outdoor prison which is what it is, incredible poverty, 50% unemployment. Now, Hamas is an Islamic organization that was originally encouraged by Israel and supported by Israel as a counterweight to the secular Palestine Liberation Organization, which Israel didn’t want to deal with.
And given those conditions, of course people will go for extremist leadership. That’s what people do when they’re miserable and deprived of any possibility whatsoever. You don’t have to support Hamas’ policies to stand up for Palestinian rights. That’s a complete falsity.
But there were free elections in Gaza, monitored by the international community. They were declared to be the freest election ever held in the Arab world. And Hamas happened to win. And when Hamas won that election, Israel and the United States immediately organized a military coup against them which Hamas defeated for which the punishment was this blockade that deprives… Gaza of food, of medical supplies, of sufficient water. I could go on and on and on and on.
And then you have this conflict. And then every time there’s a conflict, Israel mows the lawn. That’s the expression they use. You know what they call it? They call it mowing the lawn, by which they mean the mass murder of Palestinian civilians.
Now, is it true that the Gazans shoot rockets into Israel killing innocent civilians? Yes, it is. Do I support that? No, I don’t. But when it comes to the death of innocent civilians, Israel killed 20,000 Lebanese civilians in 1982 using illegal weapons like cluster bombs in a war that had no justification whatsoever….
I’ll say that the disproportion of power and responsibility and oppression is so markedly on one side that you take the worst thing you can say about Hamas, multiply it by a thousand times, and it still will not meet the Israeli repression and killing and dispossession of Palestinians. If after 2,000 year, we can look for liberation and freedom, why can’t the Palestinians?
If you look at the Western press, when Hong Kong demonstrators throw stones at the police in Hong Kong, that’s considered to be heroism in the American press. When in Myanmar, the demonstrators throw slingshots at the army, at the oppressive army, they’re considered to be heroes in the Western press. When Palestinian kids throw stones at the Israeli soldiers, they’re called terrorists.
And Israel gets away with a lot more with much less criticism in the Western press than any other country…. I was recently contacted by a Palestinian woman from Jericho. She runs a program for Palestinian children who spend time in Israeli jails; 14, 15, 16 year olds are jailed for months or years. Sometimes, they can’t see their families for months. And she runs a program for them…. She says, ‘We don’t have post traumatic stress disorder here because the trauma is never post. The trauma is daily.’…
You can get all the information you want. So, if anybody these days doesn’t know, it’s not because the information isn’t available. It’s not what you know, it’s what you could know if you wanted to find out.
There are no two sides. I mean, it’s always a complex question, but in terms of power and control, and it’s pretty straightforward. There was a land with the people living there, and other people wanted it. They took it over, and they continue to take it over, and they continue to discriminate against, oppress and dispossess that other people. That’s what happened, and that’s what’s happening.”
In 2014, Maté wrote about growing up after surviving the Holocaust. He wondered how such an atrocity could occur. As an adult, he realized that was a “naïve question” as “I know better now: such is reality… humanity stands by either complicitly or unconsciously or helplessly, as it always does.”
Maté said:
“In Gaza today we find ways of justifying the bombing of hospitals, the annihilation of families at dinner, the killing of pre-adolescents playing soccer on a beach.
In Israel-Palestine the powerful party has succeeded in painting itself as the victim, while the ones being killed and maimed become the perpetrators. “They don’t care about life,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says, abetted by the Obamas and Harpers of this world, “we do.” Netanyahu, you who with surgical precision slaughter innocents, the young and the old, you who have cruelly blockaded Gaza for years, starving it of necessities, you who deprive Palestinians of more and more of their land, their water, their crops, their trees — you care about life?...
‘People’s leaders have been misleaders, so they that are led have been confused,’ in the words of the prophet Jeremiah. The voices of justice and sanity are not heeded. Netanyahu has his reasons. Harper and Obama have theirs.
And what shall we do, we ordinary people? I pray we can listen to our hearts. My heart tells me that ‘never again’ is not a tribal slogan, that the murder of my grandparents in Auschwitz does not justify the ongoing dispossession of Palestinians, that justice, truth, peace are not tribal prerogatives. That Israel’s ‘right to defend itself,’ unarguable in principle, does not validate mass killing.”
Mowing the Grass
Maté referenced “mowing the lawn,” or “mowing the grass.” What is that?
Scott Ritter, former Marine Corps intelligence officer, said:
“Israel has implemented a policy, the English language it’s mowing the grass. Dahua is the policy that the Israelis have put on it. Mowing the grass, what does the mean? It sounds nice. It sounds copacetic, mowing the grass. It means mowing the people. Mowing the Palestinian people. Mowing the children of Palestine…. When I say mow, I mean kill. I mean murdering them, knocking them down like you would grass at harvest.
Mowing the grass. It’s Israel’s policy of disproportionate force. It’s Israel’s policy of deliberately targeting civilian populations to crush the will to resist. It is, by definition, a war crime. You are not allowed to deliberately target civilian populations. International humanitarian law has made this clear. And yet, Israel not only does it but acknowledges it as it’s official policy. And the world is silent. The world is silent. Nobody speaks out about this. Nobody has spoken out about it. It’s allowed to happen because that’s the way it is.”
Not only is the Israeli government and its sycophants open about that policy, they brag about.
In 2014, David Weinberg was giddy that “Israel will act to ‘mow the grass’ as frequently as necessary.” Afterall, he’s “Drunk on Zion,” as his blog is titled.
Weinberg is a Zionist strategist for the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security. He said more recently:
“Just like mowing your front lawn, this is constant, hard work. If you fail to do so, weeds grow wild and snakes begin to slither around in the brush.”
Of course, they dehumanize the Palestinians. The only way to get people to justify their atrocities is to get people to view them as animals. That’s why neocon CONservatives like Ben Shapiro, Charlie Kirk, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and more have described “all Palestinians” as “animals.”
Here’s a 10-year-girl standing next to a pile of rubble in 2021 at a loss for what the children of Gaza have to live with:
Tell me, is she an animal?
Her final three words: “It’s not fair.”
Absolutely right. It is not fair. And yet we have the American Zionist Corporate churches, which professes to be Christian, lending their full and unwavering support without question to the Israeli government. Not the Israeli people, mind you, who are blaming Benjamin Netanyahu and the government for Oct. 7. No, the American Zionist Corporate churches offer the blind support for the leftist, atheistic, pro-sodomite, pro-abortion, Orwellian surveillance and police state Israeli government while ignoring its atrocities as well as the deaths of Palestinian Christians and the Israeli Christians who have been under attack for years.
It just kind of makes me sick.
Censorship and Smears
“Climate Denier, Racist, NAZI, and Antisemitism, are words that have been exhaustively misused to psychologically beat people into a submission of shame. It is a human-control technology that works on many people.
The Zionists seem to be no friend of the Jewish people, but by simply showing this information, many of you are triggered into thinking I am an antisemite, a racist, or even a NAZI! And yet all I am doing is reporting on the unbiased scientific inquiry that people have had for decades in the pursuit of truth.
Mind control is a real threat and we are all affected.”—Greg Reese
Like “racist” or “conspiracy theorist,” the word “antisemitic” is weaponized to shut down dissent. To be antisemitic is to hate someone for being semitic. Interesting enough, that literally makes the ultra-Zionists who hate Palestinians antisemitic since, again, Palestinians and Arabs are Semites.
Let’s be clear, there is absolutely nothing antisemitic in questioning or opposing the government of Israel or Zionism.
But go to this link and listen to this Zionist woman telling anti-Zionist Torah Jews that they should have been killed in the gas chambers in 2022. She says:
“Hitler made one big mistake. You should’ve all been put in the gas chambers. Too bad. Hitler made a mistake. You should’ve been in the gas chamber. Too bad. But we’re here, and you’re going to go to Hell.”
Disgusting, but you might be called antisemitic for saying that about a Zionist.
Let’s hear from some of the other “antisemitic” Jews, like Holocaust survivor Jacques Bude who said the Zionists are saying “to protect us from a new genocide,” they have to commit genocide. That’s “complete nonsense,” Bude said. He added:
“To not say anything is to betray my parents. I cannot stay silent. It’s impossible…. It’s just an obligation to speak up against inhumanities.”
Then there’s Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss who said:
“That’s why the very religious around the world, we stand in total support - we hurt, we cry with the Palestinians. We are humiliated, because the Zionists took our religion and they’re using it as a tool to occupy, to intimidate, to silence other people, because if you speak up against them, you're called anti-Semitic.”
There are more:
Speaking of mind control through weaponized words, let’s look at mind control through pure, unadulterated propaganda. Take a look at this ad from 4IL, a phone app created by the Israeli government:
Note the promotion of “Pride Month” and the morally corrupt Israeli culture. But seriously think about what it’s saying. It’s literally saying you do not have to think. Just download their app, and you’ll be able to share the “truth” without doing anything. And that “truth,” it’s whatever Israel’s government says it is.
Then there’s the censorship and controlling of journalists to control the narrative. Here’s video of an Israeli police officer literally interrupting a reporter to threaten him that he had better only say good things about Israel:
And Israel’s government shut off the power and internet access to Gaza making it difficult, to say the least, to show the world their atrocities.
Now, Israel’s government is looking at allowing police to kill protestors. The Times of Israel reported:
“The government is slated to advance new measures that will allow police to use live fire against Israeli citizens who are blocking roads or entrances to towns during a ‘multi-front war,’ the Kan public broadcaster reports.”
Israel’s government has arrested Palestinian singer Dalal Abu Amneh for simply making two social media posts that stated “Lord, grant me relief and mercy” and “There’s no victor except God,” and she included links to Palestinian charities.
That’s reminiscent of tank man and Tiananmen Square. But unlike tank man where the Western media would denounce the government’s actions, with Israel they’ll applaud the killing of protestors.
And Israel’s government has no compunction with murdering people for disagreeing or questioning them. They’ll kill journalists and their families.
Jake Johnson wrote for Common Dreams:
“A Reporters Without Borders investigation released Sunday concluded that Reuters video journalist Issam Abdallah and a group of his colleagues were intentionally targeted in southern Lebanon earlier this month in a pair of strikes launched from the direction of the Israeli border.
The probe, which does not explicitly accuse the Israeli military of launching the October 13 strikes that killed Abdallah and injured other journalists, found that it is unlikely the reporters were mistaken for combatants given that they were wearing helmets and vests marked ‘press’ and had been in plain view for more than an hour.
The journalists were in the Lebanese village of Alma el-Chaab covering exchanges of fire between the Israeli military and Hezbollah when they came under attack.”
Wyatt Reed wrote for The Grayzone:
“With Israeli airstrikes on Gaza killing at least twenty Palestinian journalists—and the Biden administration working to muzzle others—Big Tech is quietly coordinating with Tel Aviv to muzzle Palestinian media outfits.
Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip killed three Palestinian journalists on October 25 in one of the deadliest days for local reporters since the military’s bombing campaign began nearly three weeks before. As the hours passed, footage appeared showing the moment Ramallah-based journalist Mohammed Farra learned that his wife and children were all killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza’s Khan Younes neighborhood.
Similarly heart-rending scenes would play out more than once over the course of the day. Elsewhere in the besieged coastal enclave, an Israeli airstrike killed the wife, son, daughter and infant grandson of Al Jazeera Arabic’s Gaza bureau chief, Wael Dahdouh.
Israel’s attacks on Palestinian journalists came hours after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken assured ‘American Jewish community leaders” that he urged Qatar’s government “to tone down Al Jazeera’s rhetoric about the war in Gaza’ during a recent trip to Doha.
Suspicions that Israeli forces deliberately targeted Dahdouh’s family were quickly bolstered by comments from News 13 journalist Zvi Yehezkeli.
‘Generally we know the target,’ Yehezkeli told audiences within hours of the strike, adding, ‘for example, today there was a target: the family of an Al Jazeera reporter.’
‘In general, we know,’ he concluded.”
Here’s video of Dahdouh learning his family was killed and a photo of him holding his dead son:
And in response to the suffering of Palestinians, some Israelis mock them:
